Collin woke up early in the morning alone in his condo. He was unsure why Ginger left, and he was not sure if he should try to contact her. Collin decided that he would wait for the required three days and then call her. On the third day, he called her the phone rang twice before she answered.

“Hello.”

“Hi, this is Collin.”

“I know, silly, I have you saved on my phone.”

“Ok, I was a little worried when I woke up in the morning, and you were gone.”

“I had to get home to my kids, and I didn’t want to wake you.”

“Good because I liked spending time with you.”

This made Ginger smile.

“I had a good time too.”

They said goodbye and hung-up with no real plans made for future dates because of their busy schedules.

Ginger pulled into her driveway late on a Thursday night. She had been working with a client and finally got the deal closed. She noticed Janet in her front yard and decided to walk over and have a talk.

“Hello Janet, how have you been?”

“Well, hi there, stranger. Haven’t seen you in a while.”

“Yeah, I have been working a lot, but I just closed a huge deal, and I get to relax for a couple days, plus the kids go to their dads this weekend, so it is looking like a wine and weed type of weekend for this girl.”

They both laugh.

“We are planning to grill out Saturday; would you like to come over?”

“That sounds like fun. Would you like me to bring anything?”

Janet cocked her head to the side.

“Wine and weed sound, of course.”

They laughed again, and Ginger went inside.

Saturday comes around the kids leave to go to their dad’s house. At 6pm, she takes a shower and puts on a comfy sundress, no panties because she is sure there will be hot tub time, grabs a bag of weed, a bottle of wine, and then heads out the door. When she gets outside, she pauses, Ginger notices a familiar Aston Martin parked in the driveway next door. Janet didn’t say anything about Colling coming over. Ginger took a deep breath and then proceeded. She knocked once, then opened the door and walked in, calling out for Janet as she strolled inside. Janet hugged Ginger, and George kissed her cheek. Ginger then walked over to talk to Collin.

“Did you know they were setting this up?” Ginger asked in a hushed tone.

“Nope, I was surprised when you walked thru the door. If you are uncomfortable, I will go.” “Don’t be silly, I wanted to see you again, I just didn’t think it would be here.”

Ginger reached up and kissed Collin’s cheek.

“This will be a fun night.”

They ate dinner, drink wine, told stories about everything and nothing, and they all had a great time. Once dinner was over, the guys cleaned the grill, and the girls cleared the plates. The ladies returned to the backyard with the bottle of wine and, of course, the bag of weed. They continued to talk, sip wine, and pass the pipe around.
